Meet the EPC members at Shinetsu Science Indistry (SSI)
SSI is a EPC contractor for AI Data Centers (AIDC).
Through rich experiences in working with top tiered tele-communication service and datacenter operators.
We work with our clients for identifying the idealistic location. We also conduct initials due diligence for infrastructure conditions, such as electricity, water, and fuel supply in the region.
Then, we design, procure facilities, deploy then based on each regional regulations, and operate then once they are linked with local power grid.
Kotaro Kosaka
Chairman
He earned a Bachelor's degree from Keio University and a Master's degree in International Policy from Stanford University. After working at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. and serving as a policy advisor to U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert, he joined Mitsubishi Corporation. As an expert in industrial policy related to economic development, he established and managed automobile manufacturing and sales companies in Vietnam, Cambodia, and China while serving as the head of marketing and sales at Mitsubishi. Additionally, he collaborated with central and local governments in Spain and Estonia on the development of grid battery management systems and dynamic pricing systems. He currently serves as the Japan Representative for Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC), an investing arm of Taiwan's ITRI. He is an expert in Taiwan's industrial policy investments and M&A advisory for companies in the Hsinchu Science Park. Along with Sasaka, he possesses the advanced technical, construction, and operational expertise necessary to transform general-purpose data centers into AI-focused data centers.
Goro Sasaka
President and CEO
After graduating from the State University of New York FIT with a degree in International Trade & Marketing, he joined Dentsu Inc. There, he was responsible for cost-effectiveness analysis of marketing activities for foreign companies, and later worked in the corporate planning section, overseeing the group’s financial strategy. After leaving the company in 2013, he became an independent entrepreneur.
He founded Limret Inc., Undotsushinsha Inc. (SportsBull), and Ring of Colour Inc., and serves as a director at Anchorstar Inc. He has focused on the development and deployment of AWS-related services, becoming an early Amazon partner during AWS’s initial stages. As an entrepreneur, he has established various online media and services, including operating data storage and transmission services.
Additionally, on October 1, 2019, he co-founded JAVE Inc., a joint venture with J-WAVE Inc., to run an internet audio business. JAVE is developing and operating a data management system to advance data storage for Japanese broadcasters. Sasaka possesses exceptional expertise in data storage, surrounding businesses, and various data services, with the ability to lead growth strategies as a successful entrepreneur.
Jason Hsiao
Supreme Advisor
Jason Hsiao is a serial technology entrepreneur and has held key leadership positions such as Vice President at ROHM Research Taiwan and Chairman at Raynergy Tek. Currently, he is the Vice Chairman at Anjet.
His involvement extends into significant industry associations, serving as a Board Member at the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Taiwan-Japan Cooperation on Industrial Technology, and the Taiwan ITRI New Venture Association.
He is also an angel investor, focusing on deep tech startups in the U.S., and one of the startups he invested in recently became a unicorn.
Jason completed a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
